Press Release
LARALAB partners with Columbia University for TTVR-AHI Registry
MUNICH, GERMANY, March 4th, 2025 / LARALAB GmbH is partnering with Columbia University in the TTVR-AHI Registry, a multi-center study focused on Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement (TTVR) patients experiencing post-procedural Acute Hemodynamic Instability (AHI). Led by Dr. Rebecca Hahn and Dr. Robin Le Ruz, the registry aims to improve understanding of right heart failure.

As part of this collaboration, LARALAB’s heart.ai software will provide automated AI-driven cardiac CT analysis of the heart before TTVR intervention. This will support standardized assessments and help identify potential new imaging-based parameters for improving patient selection, risk stratification and ultimately better procedural planning.
"The TTVR-AHI Registry provides a unique opportunity to study right heart function before TTVR. By integrating LARALAB's AI-driven cardiac CT analysis, we gain new capabilities to explore imaging-based parameters that may enhance patient selection and procedural planning, ultimately improving treatment strategies for tricuspid valve disease".

Dr. Rebecca Hahn
Professor of Medicine, Columbia University Irving Medical Center

By integrating AI-driven imaging into the registry, LARALAB contributes to advancing research in TTVR and its impact on right heart function.
